Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of M365Audit (“M365Audit,” “we,” “us”), our automated Microsoft 365 security audit platform and the reports and web application at m365-audit.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” refers to that organization.

You may only use M365Audit to audit Microsoft 365 tenants that you own or are explicitly authorized to test. You represent that you have obtained all necessary authorizations before connecting a tenant. Scanning or auditing tenants without authorization violates these Terms and may violate applicable law.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

Audit credits are purchased through Stripe and never expire. One credit equals one comprehensive M365 security audit run against one M365 tenant. Credits are non-refundable except as described in our refund policy. Subscription plans (where offered) renew automatically; you can cancel before the next billing period.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend access for maintenance, security, or legal reasons with reasonable notice where possible. We are not liable for damages from service interruptions.

M365Audit and its content (excluding the audit engine, which is MIT-licensed open-source) are our property. You retain ownership of the audit results and reports we generate on your behalf. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of our platform except as expressly permitted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, M365Audit and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with notice. You may terminate at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access ends, and we will delete your data in accordance with our privacy policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above, and we will notify you via email or the service.
